Keep fit this Easter

Easter is finally here and we’re all excited for it! Its time to enjoy your time off work and spend quality time with your friends and family.  

A percentage of people tend to lose track of their fitness journey in Easter to binge eat and hardly move. We want you to stay on track whilst enjoying your time off. Below are our top 3 tips to help you stay fit during the chocolatey period!  

 

  1. Eat in moderation– It’s very easy to sit back and binge on chocolate whilst being in a social setting. Now, there is no harm in enjoying your favourite easter egg, however, try save some of your daily calories for the egg so that it doesn’t get in the way of your goal.  
  2. Get your steps in– Another factor many struggle with is moving whilst in the holiday period. Try to get out of the house and take a family walk down to your local park, or even better…. an easter egg hunt! 
  3. Keep your protein high– During the day, try to keep a balance diet and have high protein foods or snacks to keep your muscles strong, healthy and increase your recovery. You could even experiment with trying to make your own high protein eater egg!
